All-Payer Claims Database (APCD)

GDAC partnered with the Office of Health Strategy and Coordination (OHSC) to host the Georgia All Payer Claims Database (APCD) established by SB 482 in 2020. GDAC built the Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics (OHDSI) platform to enable large scale health data analytics. As the administrator for the APCD, the Georgia Technology Research Institute (GTRI) leveraged this analytics platform and published APCD public data here.

These dashboards examine enrollment trends, prescribed medications, and diagnosis.

As required under O.C.G.A. §§ 31-6-70 and 31-7-179.1 and other regulations, the Georgia Department of Community Health administers a data survey. Reporting requirements were expanded in 2019 (HB 186 and HB 321) to increase hospital transparency.
